Lussuria is about pleasure without guilt, submission without loss of self, and the reclamation of desire as an intentional, personal experience rather than an external judgment.
Traditional depictions of Lust focus on loss of control and indulgence as moral failure. Here, Lust is reframed as self-exploration, liberation, and a conscious, deliberate relationship with pleasure. It draws from BDSM ideology—where power is negotiated instead of taken, and desire is rooted in trust, surrender, and mindfulness.
Bound, not trapped— she isn’t posing, she is simply being, effortlessly embracing the duality of surrender and self-possession.
"7" is a reimagining of the Seven Deadly Sins through the lens of Black womanhood, race, and femininity, transforming them from moral failings into acts of self-preservation, autonomy, and reclamation.
This series challenges the way Black women are denied the right to anger, indulgence, pride, and desire, reframing these "sins" as necessary virtues- pathways to self-awareness, freedom, and intentional living.
Each piece serves as a space where Black women can exist beyond control, expectation, or justification.
